Local, independent business logos carry heavy responsibilities. They must: identify the market, instantly relay basic information, be striking first, memorable later.
A business logo must answer basic questions immediately. Why does this company matter? What’s the opportunity for me, the viewer? Why is this business indispensable?
These logos that carry business information must visually unpack all the strategies and visual ideas the designer and clients - together - have put into it.
Only then can we send it ahead in ads and social media, or leave it behind on a business card. It’s our introduction as we begin to tell strategic stories visually.
